01

Purpose and scope

This policy applies to every account, server, domain, and mailbox that uses Trust Hosting infrastructure, including sub-users and resellers.

You are responsible for all activity that originates from your services: sites, APIs, scripts, outbound mail, and devices that connect through our network. Unawareness of a setting does not excuse a violation.

Read this policy with the Terms and the SLA. Where they conflict on security or law, network protection and legal compliance take precedence.

02

Permitted use

The service is for lawful businesses, sites, and applications you have the right to run.

Sites and stores

Content you have rights to, legitimate commerce, and technical documentation.

Build and run

Development, staging, and production within plan limits, without exposing services that harm the network.

Transactional mail

Confirmations, invoices, and support to people who agreed to hear from you, with a clear opt-out for marketing.

03

Prohibited activity

The list below is not exhaustive. Conduct with the same harm is treated the same way.

Network and security abuse

Port scanning, brute force, open proxies, botnets, abusive mining, or using the service as an attack platform against others — including other Trust Hosting customers.

Fraud and phishing

Phishing pages, fraud kits, trafficking stolen data, brand impersonation, or any infrastructure intended to deceive users.

Illegal content

Content that violates Egyptian law or the law of the country where the server runs, including child sexual exploitation, material that incites criminal violence, and copyright infringement after a substantiated notice.

Malware

Hosting or distributing viruses, backdoors, ransomware, or attack control panels.

  • Attempts to compromise Trust Hosting systems or other customer accounts.
  • Exceeding plan limits with tools that starve neighbouring accounts on shared hosting.
  • Hiding the source of mail or of a prohibited service.
04

Email and lists

A network is judged by its reputation. Unwanted mail from one account harms everyone.

Unsolicited bulk email, purchased lists, and forging headers or SPF/DKIM to hide the source are prohibited. Marketing is allowed only to people who gave clear consent, with list headers and an unsubscribe that works within 48 hours.

If our addresses are listed on blocklists because of your activity, outbound mail may be suspended immediately until the cause is fixed. You remain responsible for complaints that arose during your service period even after the account is closed.

05

Resources and operational security

A plan describes a ceiling, not a right to impair others.

On shared hosting we throttle processes, CPU, and memory when load threatens the node. On VPS and dedicated servers you administer the system, but abusive traffic or traffic aimed at others is stopped at the edge.

Keep CMS software and plugins reasonably current. A compromised account used for attacks is treated as an abuse source until you secure it. We notify you when the signal is clear, and may isolate the service before you reply if the risk is immediate.

06

Enforcement and appeals

We escalate with the harm: notice, restriction, suspension, termination, and reports to authorities where required.

1

Assessment

Abuse reports and automated logs are reviewed. A clear violation or immediate risk does not wait for a long debate.

2

Action

We may restrict a port, mail, or isolate a server. We notify the account holder at the registered email when that is possible without increasing harm.

3

Appeal

File an appeal through support within 7 days with evidence. Restoration is not a right if the risk remains or the violation repeats.

Fees are not refunded for a suspension caused by a breach of this policy. Incident records may be kept for legal compliance. To report abuse from a service we host, use the contact page and include URLs, logs, and timestamps (Cairo time).
